This cotton jersey in rosé has an interesting stripe pattern. The stripes result from the knit pattern, which is more dense in the stripes, which thus sit above the base fabric. This way the fabric plays with transparency; transparent stripes and opaque stripes are alternating. The fabric generally is very light and thus is best suited for tops.
The fabric edges roll easily, thus handle with care and don't stretch it too much in the sewing process.
We made a self-drafted top from this fabric with a twisted front, which highlights the special texture of the fabric. To make the top less transparent, we worked with a lining in the front. In the back we doubled the fabric and turned it by 90 degrees. This resulted in a subtle check pattern.
